Our Monthly Meeting is this Wednesday and we are setting our sights on snuggling in with those that we care about. Our topic Baby & Child Wearing fits the bill as we call on local community experts (i.e. veteran moms and dads) to show us the ropes and share the reasons why “wearing baby” can work for you and your family. We hope that you will join us for this fun and enlightening meeting.

BABY AND CHILD WEARING
Wednesday, February 24th
from 7:00 to 8:30pm
at the Athens Library
We’re bringing in the experts to cover the many uses of a wide variety of slings and baby carriers for this month’s meeting. Experienced moms and dads who have learned the ins and outs of “wearing” their children will discuss the benefits and difficulties of using various carriers from birth through toddlerhood and beyond. Bring your questions and children and we’ll supply the carriers and experts!

Winter has arrived and we all need a reason to get out of the house, so come join us or two hours of fun and conversation every first Thursday of the month. All ages are welcome and we hope to see you there!

MARCH LOSS SUPPORT GROUP MEETING
Thursday, March 3rd
6:30-8pm
Central Avenue Church–73 Central Ave. in Athens
If you are in need of support because of a pregnancy loss or the loss of your child, you are welcome to join us every first Thursday of the month for the support group. These meetings are free and facilitated by a professional social worker. All family members, such as grandparents, siblings, aunts and uncles, as well as friends are welcome. Childcare is provided. Please let us know if you will be bringing any children so that we can provide enough supervision.
