There is no regular monthly meeting in April–we are putting all our efforts into the Pregnancy & Baby Fair!

This month is a big one for The Birth Circle and our community. It is time for our Annual Pregnancy and Baby Fair!! Please see below for more details, and check out our Pregnancy & Baby Fair page for up-to-date information on raffle prizes, vendors, programming and sponsors. We are excited to try out a new location this year, so please plan on joining us on Saturday April 29th at the Athens Community Center for this fun, family-friendly event and a huge thanks to our Fair sponsors.

The Birth Circle invites you to the Athens Community Center for our FREE spring event, where you can find great family, pregnancy and baby resources. You can talk with healthcare professionals, midwives, doulas, childcare providers, photographers and other local service providers while shopping for local items as well as national brands. We’ll have dozens of vendors with essential goods for the childbearing years, demonstrations, and information about local services. This event has no admission charge and is open to the public. Mark your calendar for a fun-filled day of building community and exploring your local family resources!
We would love to have your help with the 2017 Pregnancy & Baby Fair! You can volunteer your time, donate a raffle prize, or decide to be a sponsor for our event.

APRIL LOSS SUPPORT GROUP
Thursday, April 6th

Central Avenue Church, 73 Central Ave., Athens
If you are in need of support because of a pregnancy loss or the loss of your child, you are welcome to join us every first Thursday of the month for this support group. These meetings are free and facilitated by a professional social worker. All family members, such as grandparents, siblings, aunts and uncles, as well as friends are welcome. Childcare is provided.

Are you a young mom who would like to spend some time learning and socializing with other young moms and their children? Open to all younger moms old and new, so if you were under 22 year of age when you had your first child, then come join us and share your experiences as a young mom. Come join us for a fun time learning, sharing and playing. We’ll even have a craft to do and some food to eat! We can’t wait to see you!

Let The Birth Circle community cook for you! If you’ve just had a baby, if you are going through another type of transition in your family, or have experienced a loss, The Birth Circle is more than happy to organize a meal calendar to help support you.
